Biostimulants
Chitosan Oligosaccharides
Marine Biostimulant Derived from Alaskan Snow Crab Shells
Sourced exclusively from the pristine, nutrient-rich deep waters of the North Pacific, this premium biostimulant is derived entirely from high-grade Alaskan Snow Crab shells. Through advanced enzymatic extraction, it delivers ultra-pure, highly active Chitosan Oligosaccharides (COS). By triggering the plant’s defense mechanisms at a cellular level, it boosts crop immunity against environmental stress and diseases. This clean, marine-sourced formula optimizes nutrient mobilization, accelerates root vitality, and fosters a resilient, thriving soil ecosystem.

Key benefits
- Pristine Arctic Sourcing Crafted from 100% natural, unpolluted Alaskan snow crab shells for uncompromised bio-activity and purity.
- Triggers Systemic Immunity Mimics natural signals to activate the plant's self-defense system against fungal and bacterial pressures.
- Root & Stress Resilience Maximizes root development and enhances crop tolerance to drought, salinity, and extreme temperature fluctuations.
- Eco-Friendly Performance Enhances beneficial soil biology and naturally repels root-knot nematodes for long-term soil health.
Suggested dosage & application
- Foliar spraying Dosage: Dilute 1:3000 – 1:5000 (approx. 20 – 33 g per 100L of water) Timing: Apply before disease onset or early growth stages. Repeat every 10–15 days, 2–3 times total.
- Fertigation & Drip Irrigation Dosage: 750 – 1500 g / hectare Benefit: Aggressively suppresses root-knot nematodes and soil-borne fungi (like Fusarium) while multiplying beneficial chitin-olytic bacteria in the rhizosphere.
- As a Liquid Formula Additive Dosage: Add 0.5% – 1% by weight into liquid fertilizers (Amino Acids, Seaweed, or Micronutrients). Benefit: Synergizes perfectly with biostimulants to enhance plant defense, systemic resistance, and overall crop vigor.
- Notes: 1. While an ultra-low molecular weight (< 1000 Da) significantly improves compatibility, the 90% deacetylation rate means the high density of free amino groups remains chemically sensitive to strong alkalis. Keep the final liquid formula within a pH range of 4.5 – 7.2; exceeding pH 8.0 will cause deprotonation, leading to micro-crystallization or cloudy precipitation over time. 2. Due to the abundance of highly active, positively charged amine sites, this premium oligochitosan is a natural, aggressive complexing agent. Avoid directly mixing the powder with high-concentration free metal ions, particularly copper (e.g., Copper Sulfate) or zinc, as it will trigger instant chelation-flocculation. 3. When incorporating into liquid blends, always dissolve the 90% powder completely in the water phase first to allow the molecules to hydrate fully. Once the solution is crystal clear, proceed to introduce other nutrient components or adjuvants under continuous agitation.
