Suggested dosage & application

  • For Formulators & Manufacturers As a 98% Technical Grade concentration, this product must be formulated before broad field application. Solubility: IAA 98% TC is soluble in ethanol, methanol, or acetone, but poorly soluble in water. For direct water solubility, manufacturers often use Potassium Indole-3-acetate (IAA-K) to formulate commercial 2%/5% SP or 0.11% SL. Formulation Note: Maintain an acidic pH level (ideally between 5.0 to 6.5), as IAA degrades rapidly in alkaline environments. Due to its high sensitivity to light, formulations must use light-shielding packaging (e.g., black bottles or aluminum foil).
  • Reference Field Application Rates For standard foliar spraying, the general field application dosage ranges from 10 to 20 mg/L (ppm), depending on the specific growth stage and target response. For Rooting & Cutting: Soak basal ends in a 20 to 50 mg/L solution for 2 to 6 hours, or use a quick-dip at 500 to 1000 mg/L for 5 to 10 seconds. For Seedlings & Transplanting: Soak bare roots in a 10 to 25 mg/L solution for 1 to 2 hours before planting to enhance survival rates.
